Zoom is a package for web developers to easily add a powerful custom search engine to a website. Fast search results are made possible by pre-indexing your website in advance. Unlike other solutions relying on server-side software, Zoom does this from the convenience of your own Windows computer. Features include: spider & offline indexing modes, DOC and PDF file support, wildcard searches, windows GUI indexer, relevance scoring, user search logging, configurable exclusion sections, duplicate page detection, and lots more. PHP or ASP is required for the search front-end. A free edition is available for smaller websites without pdf and doc support.
