SourceHelper 1.0

SourceHelper is an add-on to Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 6.0. It extends VSS functionality, making it easy for the user to cope with the most complex archive in a personalized way: Specify the actions and run them at any time. Your specifications are stored for later use and you can easily copy, rename, edit and delete them. SourceHelper generates reports in either txt or rtf format. SourceHelper is especially appreciated while building software releases.

SourceHelper provides the following functions that can be run on any VSS 6.0 database:

Search for any string in label and check-in comments
Find files by status attribute - e.g. find checked out files
Improved 'Get' functionality - Get files by label or date
Compare Visual SourceSafe projects
Back up checked out files
Manage Working folders
Store reports in txt or rtf format
